Street Photography

An acquaintance talked me into teaching a workshop for an inexperienced but very energetic photo enthusiast - she is interested in getting to know her camera better, and the various techniques you can use to make an everyday image more interesting. We went through the basics of light sensitivity, aperture and shutter speed, and the creative use of the combination of those three core elements. Whilst I was illustrating the effects of slow shutter speed, I spotted this handicapped man pushing his way through the rain, with his attentive companion on board. Whilst it is a chance image, it is also typical of what you can get during a rainy day out on the streets.
