CHINA SICHUAN PROVINCE CHONGQUING MAY99 - Dockworkers return from a ferry at the shore of the Yangtse river where it merges with the Jailing river at Chongquing. Seven large cities, including Chongquing, and thousands of villages will be submerged once the water level rises after the completion of the controversial Three Gorges Dam project further downriver.
